Oak leaves brown

Oak leaves are the ideal permanent food for all invertebrates, such as shrimps, crabs, crabs and snails.
Due to the hard leaf structure, it takes a long time for the shrimp to eat it and thus serves as a hiding place for the young animals.
Larger species of crabs and crabs and also some catfish love to shred the leaves.

Due to the very high tannic acid content, oak leaves have a slightly pH-lowering effect and effectively help against spawn fungus.
The tannins color the water slightly yellow to brown.
