Black guava leaves
Black guava leaves come from a different guava tree than green guava leaves. And therefore have darker leaves.
They contain slightly more humic acid than traditional guava leaves .
Guava leaves are a healthy supplement for all invertebrates, such as shrimps, crabs and crabs, and serve as a natural water conditioner.
The leaves have a slightly antibacterial effect and can therefore have a positive effect on the aquarium water.
They only influence the pH value imperceptibly.
The valuable antioxidants, flavonoids, vitamins, minerals and humic acids make guava leaves an all-rounder in natural aquarium keeping.
Preventive and supportive for:
- bacterial infections
- fungal infections
- is said to work against Vibrio bacteria, which is said to be responsible for some shrimp diseases
- spawning fungus
- gill worms
- Parasitic infestation
- Bite wounds
To ensure that they sink more quickly, the leaves can be briefly scalded with hot water before being introduced into the aquarium.
