The Torrax black peat granules enable a simple and effective reduction of carbonate hardness on a biological basis. It creates living conditions similar to tropical black water. And offers plants and animals a natural environment.
It can be used as a filter additive or soil material. And enriches the aquarium water with valuable humic acids and trace elements.
In order to avoid overacidification of the aquarium water, the pH value should be checked regularly.
1000 ml of active peat is sufficient for aquariums of 200 to 400 L with a medium KH value.
