Every time you change the water, toxic substances such as chlorine and heavy metals can get into the aquarium water. Even our well-monitored drinking water often contains such substances in concentrations that are critical for fish and other aquarium inhabitants.

sera aquatan immediately processes tap water into healthy water that is suitable for fish. It removes pollutants such as chlorine and chloramines, binds heavy metals (e.g. copper, zinc or lead) and protects against ammonia. At the same time, it adds important minerals to the water in a bioavailable form, from which fish, plants, invertebrates and beneficial microorganisms benefit:

  • Calcium for a strong, well-proportioned skeleton and flawless scales
  • Magnesium for strong growth and muscles
  • Manganese for healthy growth and improved fertility
  • Iodine for balanced development and more resistance

In this way, aquatan guarantees optimal living conditions for all aquarium inhabitants.

sera aquatan ensures water that is suitable for fish by removing, among other things, toxic ammonia and chlorine. Even in low concentrations, these pollutants are harmful to both fish and shrimp and can even be fatal. When fish and/or shrimp are in danger is summarized in the diagram.

aquatan is able to completely remove or bind these pollutants within a very short time (max. 10 minutes) and thus protects the aquarium inhabitants from dangerous poisoning.
